I offer supervision to counsellors wanting to work in a more creative way and to art therapists and art therapy students. I am registered with NZAC and ANZACATA.

After 30 years of working in the counselling field and journeying on a professional and personal level with this work I have lots to offer as a supervisor. I am experienced in working with trauma and anxiety, grief, depression and sexual abuse. I have experience of working with children, adolescents and adults as well as families. I have taught creative ways of working at Whitecliffe College and Vision college as well as at various NGO’s.

I believe that the relationship with your client is the most effective part of the process and that engaging with authenticity and being able to sit with your client in the unknown, the despair and the sheer awfulness of some feelings is dependent on your ability to sit with this in oneself. Creative arts, tuning into the body’s wisdom are all ways to explore this more fully and be more present with our clients on their courageous journeys back to health.
